Bird Nerds is a crash course in bird biology and behaviour for creative people and our friends who enjoy birds. Learn about bird vision, communication, migration, feathers and eggs! Then hear about contemporary artists working with live birds and bird data and some opportunities and resources for creative birders. There will be book recomendations, story telling and lots of amazing art to fall in love with. The talk will be presented by the Biophilium's director Alex Williams, an artist who has studied birds with the Biophilium for 8 years.


Bird Nerds is part of the Ayatana Biophilium's Wild Wednesday Webinar series. All are welcome. You are invited to attend while you eat supper or while you work in the studio. It is perfect for listening to while you paint, or you could snuggle down and enjoy the stories with popcorn or cocoa. You are invited to join with or without your video. Meetings will be recorded and available for participants for one month after each class.

Seminars will be held on Zoom. Participants will recieve a link to the meeting the day of.
